Google Trends, launched recently, gives an interesting insight into the thirst for information on war and peace by people who used Google to search for these two keywords.
I found it fascinating that news and information on war by far exceeded search queries on news and information on peace. Obviously, Google Trends is not serious ground for academic research as to why this is the case, but it’s a great conversation starter – are we more interested in violence than we are in peace?
