The erosion of privacy on Facebook: 2005 – 2010

I’ve written about the significant and growing concerns over Facebook privacy before.

Matt McKeon, a user interface developer working with the Visual Communication Lab at IBM Research has come with a fascinating look at just how much privacy on Facebook has evaporated since 2005, making information in the ‘closed’ network increasingly open to anyone on the web, unless the fiendishly complex privacy settings are tweaked to prevent this.
